The Tex Cotton Group manufactures and sells clothing and accessories through several channels, including its own and partner physical stores and online stores (e-commerce).
To provide these services through our websites, social networks and in-person paper forms, we need to collect certain data and information, primarily to provide you with an increasingly better experience. The Tex Cotton Group recognizes the importance of your privacy and takes every possible measure to protect it. This Policy explains how your information and personal data will be collected, used, shared and stored.
This Policy applies to all natural persons who are personal-data subjects and use our Services, online or offline, through our various services and channels.

SPECIAL NOTICE FOR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS: although we prohibit registration by children and teenagers under 18, parents must supervise their minor children’s online activities. The online activities of teenagers under 18 must be assisted by a parent or legal guardian.
You accept our Policy when you access and/or register on our platform to use one of the services mentioned above and affirmatively agree to the use of your data for the purposes described here. This means you understand and fully agree with how we use your information and data. If you choose not to provide Personal Data needed to use our products or services, or do not agree with this Policy, we will be unable to provide those products and/or services. 1. What are the sources of personal data?
The amount and type of information collected by the Tex Cotton Group vary according to how you use our services. We collect different data when you visit our website, interact with our digital platforms or use our services. We divide collection into categories so that you can understand what applies to you.
Tex Cotton Social Networks: consumer-facing networks operated by or for Tex Cotton, including mini-sites we maintain on third-party social networks such as Facebook and Instagram.
Tex Cotton Institutional Websites: public-facing websites containing relevant information about the company, its brands, products and services. These websites also use forms for contacting the Tex Cotton Group.
Websites and mobile applications used for online sales (e-commerce): consumer-facing channels operated by Tex Cotton under our own domains/URLs or smartphone applications, where products can be viewed and purchased.
Brand Relationship Programs: a way of thanking each brand’s special fans and customers through cards, a digital platform and exclusive gifts.
Interactions with advertisements: if you interact with one of our advertisements on a third-party website, we may receive information about that interaction.
Data created by us: during our interactions with you, we may create Personal Data about you, including records of interactions with our content and emails and lists used to send brand news and promotions.
When you click social-sharing buttons on our pages, you publish the content through your profile on the selected network. The Tex Cotton Group cannot access users’ usernames or passwords and will not publish on a user’s behalf unless the user performs that action.
All data we collect is used to provide our services. Your data and information are treated as confidential and used only for the purposes described here and authorized by you, principally to let you use our services fully and to improve your experience.
1.2. What are the legal grounds for collecting data?
We collect data only on grounds authorized by law, including consent, legitimate interests and due performance of agreements. When consent is not the legal ground, we comply with applicable law and respect data subjects’ individual rights and freedoms.
2. What types of data does the Tex Cotton Group process?
2.1. Website visitors — If you only access our websites, we collect browsing data. When you visit, a “cookie” may be placed in your browser through Google Analytics to identify how many times you return.
“Cookies” are identifiers transferred to your browser or device that allow us to recognize it and understand how and when pages and features in our Services are visited and how many people access them.
We also use Cookies and browsing data, such as URLs, to collect the date and time of your visit and the solutions and information you searched for and viewed. This data is collected automatically and stored in log files whenever you visit our website or access your account. We may use session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain until deleted, to provide a more personal and interactive experience. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your browser’s help instructions. You may limit, reject or disable Cookies in your browser settings, but some areas may then fail to work correctly.
This Policy does not cover third parties’ use of Cookies, and we are not responsible for their privacy policies or practices. Third-party Cookies may continue to monitor your online activity after you leave our Services.
2.2. Tex Cotton Group Social Network users — We may send prizes and products to customers who interact most with our brands. For this purpose, through a minor’s legal guardian, we may collect the minor’s name, date of birth and clothing size. To issue invoices for gifts, we may collect the guardian’s name, telephone and WhatsApp number, identity-card number, CPF tax number, email and address.
Our Social Networks are also used for customer service. When asked, we may recommend the nearest point of sale and request the customer’s city and state. Customers may ask about order status through social-network chat; this requires the customer’s name, CPF tax number, order number and email.
On Tex Cotton brand social networks, photos and videos published by customers in which we are tagged or mentioned may be collected and shared in Instagram and Facebook Stories and Feeds.
2.3. Institutional Website and Service users — If you use our services and/or products, we may collect contact data (name, email and telephone), location data (geolocation and address), access-device data (device and advertising identifiers, operating-system name and type, IP address, connection information, browser and pages visited), and marketing preferences.
To integrate services, we may collect data Facebook/Google makes publicly available, together with information about advertisements and materials you interacted with, clicks and visitor information available on those platforms.
Our websites integrate with YouTube to play Tex Cotton Group videos. Such content and any personal data collected during playback are subject to Brazil’s General Data Protection Law, the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
2.4. Online Store users — To register and purchase products from our online stores, we collect full name, email, CPF tax number, date of birth, telephone, gender, billing and delivery addresses and access credentials (username and password).
This information is used to identify you, provide services, credit points, grant discounts, bonuses and relationship-program benefits, sell and deliver products, promote brand products and services and issue invoices.
You may sign in using Google/Gmail or Facebook. We may collect data those platforms make publicly available, together with advertisement, interaction, click and visitor information they provide. YouTube video playback remains subject to applicable law and those platforms’ policies.
2.5. Marketing (Email Marketing) — If you interact with our materials and content, we collect browsing data, page visits and other information you choose to share through digital products, Social Networks, WhatsApp, forms, emails, call centers, Newsletters, comments, polls, promotions, events, prize drawings and contests.
To offer content that interests you, we may need to combine collected data to direct marketing activities. This is not done in a discriminatory manner and does not infringe individual rights or freedoms. You may ask to change or remove data-processing permissions at any time through Contact Us.
2.6. Careers — If you wish to work with us, in addition to browsing data and with your consent, we collect registration and professional data such as full name, marital status, CPF/NIF tax number, identity-card number, date of birth, email, education, professional history, previous compensation, salary expectations, number of children, password and other information. Tex Cotton may request some information directly by email, WhatsApp or telephone.
Your registration is used as a résumé and forwarded to Tex Cotton Group units. You undertake to complete the form fully and accurately. Internship applicants must be enrolled in technical school or higher education; permanent-position applicants need not be studying.
Registration data is used only for recruitment and selection. If you are under 18, your legal guardian must read and consent to the submission of this information.
2.6. Event, promotion or relationship-program participants — If you participate in fashion shows, promotions, events, prize drawings or contests, data needed to confirm registration and participation may be collected through third-party form platforms, Social Networks (Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and WhatsApp) or physical and digital forms. This may include name, CPF tax number, identity-card number, location, residence and activity-specific information such as videos, photos and model clothing measurements.
For relationship-program registration, we may collect the child or teenager’s name and date of birth and the guardian’s name, telephone and email. Email data may be shared with our Marketing team to send content and news related to the event or promotion. You may change these preferences at any time through Contact Us.
2.7. WhatsApp Broadcast Lists — If you add a telephone number publicized by the Tex Cotton Group to your WhatsApp contacts, you may receive brand news and promotions through a broadcast list. When requesting inclusion, you must provide your name and telephone. This data may be shared with Marketing for news, surveys, promotions and programs. You may change preferences through Contact Us; to stop receiving content, delete the contact from your address book.
- Your email may be used to send material or information requested through a form and to send Marketing and Newsletters from the Tex Cotton Group and partners; you may unsubscribe at any time.
- Tex Cotton employees may contact you by email or telephone for surveys or to present products and services.

3. With whom does the Tex Cotton Group share your data?
The Tex Cotton Group may work with other companies on activities including anti-fraud purchase analysis, contact and event forms, relationship-program cards, online-store purchases, commercial partnerships, advertising tools and performance analytics. We may share location, registration and interest information when necessary while seeking to preserve your privacy as much as possible.
We do not rent, sell or transfer your personal data to anyone except the partner categories described below.
Within Tex Cotton Group brands: data may be shared among the brands for the purposes described in this Policy, particularly authentication between platforms and sending news, features, content and events relevant to our relationship with you.
Our Partners: we hire companies to work on our behalf and need to share personal data so they can provide products and services. For example, we use hosting services to store our database. Partners may use personal data only for the specific contracted purposes.
Statistics: data may be grouped and used for analytics without seeking to identify data subjects, so we can understand use of our platforms, improve services and customize products to users’ interests.
Social-network profiles or other submissions: when signing in through Google or Facebook, certain account data may be shared with Tex Cotton. Check which publicly accessible personal data those platforms authorize. We do not control third-party websites’ or services’ policies and practices.
Protecting Tex Cotton Group rights: we reserve the right to access, read, preserve and disclose data we believe necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order, enforce agreements, or protect Tex Cotton, our employees, our users or others and their rights, property or safety.
4. What are data subjects’ rights?
You may choose not to disclose data, although some data may be required for registration or use of our features and services. You always have rights regarding privacy and the protection of your personal data.
We may need to request specific information to confirm your identity and ensure your right to access personal data or exercise other rights. Careers and Online Store accounts are password-protected. If you access your account through a third-party website or service, it may provide additional or different protections.
